Buying guide

Which AutoEdit Plugin Is Right for You? Music Video, Event Recap, Creator Mode, or B-Roll Selectr

Choose Music Video Mode for full-song performance takes and beat-driven rough cuts; Event Recap Mode for weddings, concerts, festivals, conventions, B-roll, and interview-led recaps; Creator Mode for talking-head videos, podcasts, captions, bad-take removal, filler words, repetitions, and silences; or the standalone B-Roll Selectr when you only need faster usable B-roll selects.

Comparison

Music Video Mode vs Event Recap Mode: Which Should You Buy?

Choose Music Video Mode when the song and performance drive the edit. Choose Event Recap Mode when the story is the experience of a real event. If you regularly deliver both, the bundle avoids forcing one workflow onto footage it was not designed to organize.

Event Recap Mode

How to Edit Event Recaps Faster in Premiere Pro

A faster event recap workflow begins with organized footage and a clear delivery goal. Sort hero moments, crowd energy, details, speakers, and transitions; let Event Recap Mode build a starting sequence; then refine the emotional arc, brand requirements, and final rhythm.

Capability

Is Event Recap Mode Really One Click?

“One click” describes the automated first-pass action, not a finished client delivery. Event Recap Mode can remove a large amount of assembly work, but editors should still verify shot choices, pacing, continuity, branding, color, audio, and export settings.

Event Recap Mode

How to Edit Wedding Recaps With AutoEdit

For wedding recaps, use Event Recap Mode to accelerate the highlight assembly while protecting emotional chronology. Organize preparations, ceremony, portraits, speeches, and reception footage first, then refine the result around the couple’s story rather than treating every energetic shot equally.

Event Recap Mode

How to Edit Concert Recaps With AutoEdit

Concert recaps work best when the edit alternates performance, artist, crowd, venue, and detail shots. Event Recap Mode can create the energetic first pass; the editor should then protect major musical moments and avoid using all of the strongest crowd footage too early.

Event Recap Mode

How to Edit Nightclub and Festival Recaps Faster

Nightlife and festival recaps need controlled escalation, not nonstop maximum speed. Use Event Recap Mode for the assembly, then shape arrivals, environment, performers, peak crowd energy, and a clean ending. Reserve the most intense visuals for the musical high point.

Event Recap Mode

How to Edit Corporate Event Recaps With AutoEdit

Corporate recaps must balance energy with required coverage. Organize speakers, sponsors, networking, venue details, audience reactions, and hero moments before running Event Recap Mode, then verify every promised person, logo, and activation appears in the final cut.

Event Recap Mode

Brand Activation Recap Editing Workflow

A brand activation recap should prove attendance, participation, product visibility, and atmosphere. Use Event Recap Mode to accelerate the visual assembly, then audit the cut against the client brief so sponsor marks and key interactions are present without turning the video into a logo reel.

Comparison

Event Recap Mode vs B-Roll Selector for Weddings

Use Event Recap Mode when you need a complete highlight-oriented starting timeline. Use a B-roll selection workflow when the main problem is finding usable supporting shots. For weddings, the better choice depends on whether assembly or footage discovery is the larger bottleneck.

How to Choose Music for an Event Recap

Choose music by the event’s emotional arc, client identity, and delivery length. Look for a clear opening, build, peak, and finish; confirm licensing; then let the music guide the assembly. A usable structure matters more than choosing the most fashionable track.

Planning

Event Recap Shot List for Better AutoEdit Results

Capture wide establishing shots, medium interactions, tight details, faces, branded elements, transitions, and a clear closing moment. AutoEdit can only assemble the material you provide, so deliberate coverage and shot variety remain the strongest predictors of a useful first cut.

Compatibility

Does Event Recap Mode Support Multicam Projects?

Prepare multicam material before the recap assembly: synchronize sources, label angles, and create a stable working sequence. Event Recap Mode can help with highlight pacing, while angle priority and continuity should be reviewed manually—especially for ceremonies, speeches, and live performances.

Performance

How to Handle Hours of Event Footage With AutoEdit

Break very long event projects into logical sections before building the final recap. Organize media by time or scene, use proxies for demanding codecs, test the workflow on one section, and combine approved selects into the master edit. This is safer than processing an unstructured media dump.

Use case

How to Turn an Event Recap Into Vertical Social Cuts

Finish the main story first, then build vertical versions around independent hooks. Reframe each shot, enlarge essential details, shorten the setup, and verify text-safe areas. Event Recap Mode can accelerate source selection, but vertical composition requires a dedicated review.
